Who we are

Lead Notebook is a service provided and run by Morten Farstad Myrmel, Sagtomtveien 5, 1359 Eiksmarka, Norway. Contact: morten@leadnotebook.com. Morten is the controller for the personal data described below.

This website

This site uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts or fonts. Our hosting provider processes technical request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver the pages and protect against abuse.

Lists you send us

• What: the website addresses, record IDs, business names and cities in your list, and your email correspondence with us.
• Why: to produce the results you asked for and to bill for them. The legal basis is our agreement with you (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)), and for correspondence our legitimate interest in answering you (art. 6(1)(f)).
• How long: we delete your list and your results 30 days after delivery. Emails and invoices are kept as long as accounting law requires.
• Who else: our email provider (Zoho, EU data centre) and, for card payments, our payment provider. We do not sell or share your lists.

Data in the results

Results contain information that businesses publish on their own websites, such as business email addresses and phone numbers, with the page where we found it. We read a few public pages per site, follow robots.txt and keep only short excerpts. If you are a business owner and want your website excluded from future checks, email us and we will add it to our exclusion list.

You decide how you use the results. Contacting the businesses, including any consent or opt-out rules that apply to you, is your responsibility.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of personal data we hold about you, or object to its use, by emailing morten@leadnotebook.com. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
